A land of Software Enggs VS A Waste land

Thousands years of old rich land’s(INDIA) people one day wake up from their half dream to pursue a software engg career. After thosands days struggel they got a degree. Parents,people and students all become happy. To cherish their half filled dream($$$$) they flew thousands of miles and laned in a land of thosands days old country(USA). I was among them in that flock.
My venture started after two days - just get rid of my jetlags. Everything looked fresh and new here to me - Home,Road,buildings,office,air,sky,vehicle even people(white). May be this place is just 1000 days old and mine being 1000 yeas old. I just compared this place with a flash back of my country. My inquisitive mind proded to know more. Many weekends passed in travelling 1000s of miles in car. Ever rising gas price did not hurt me as I could able to remit 1000 USD into INR. My first stop was at Niagra after 400miles(<1000 miles :}) drive. But after reaching there found 1000 people out of 1001 are from India. All came out to be software enggs and their family. Everybody travelled far from their location to see Niagra falls once read in school text book. It was good experience. I never got a chance to see any water fall so close in my country. Next weekend I arrived at New York. A dream city. Empire state building,Ellis Iand,statue of Liberty, ruins of twin towers and colorful Times Square. I deliberately left wall street thinking it might fall over me anytime and came across dwindling Main Street. I wandered few other places Chicago,Washington DC,Rhode Iland,New Hamsphire,Philadelphia and few more in the north East. Spring and Summer over, now fall and winter slowly sets in. Temerature drops in up to -10 degree centigrade. Poeple hate snow like anything. But I am eager for skiing and watching snow fall - a man of dust and dirty land.
Suddenly a question came. I travelled many 1000 miles. All are free flow high speed free ways. I did not find any crop fields or big trees in rode side. Hardly find any people roaming. No mines and no chain of industries. It has nothing but waste 1000s of miles. How a tree will grow in freezing temperature? So how come it became a Number one developed Nation. It hurt my sentiment for my poor country and people. All shopping malls where ever I go hardly see any product “Made in USA”. Made in china,india,brazil etc are prevelent. Yes they never fought with china,india..but only with British for Tea - Boston Tea Party. My little mind soon understood the concept of Globalization and outsourcing. yaaa…because of this I am here like many and busy with only work and $$$$. A house in India is too costly to afford with my 1000USD savings per months. So many switch from Deshi company for more $$ — is it called cheapt labor ? :}.
It was my eye opening after seeing Waste Land. Compared to this My thousands year old country has many people, many thing to grow and eat, many minerals,many beauties,many talents,many religion,many yogies and mnay more uncountable things to tell…
but feels like we do not have many things like unity,descipline,honesty,patrotism,compassion,determination,understanding and many more. Or are we lost in many good things in search of few more $$$s and glitters?
Ok friends today this much only……From Land of 1000 days old.

15 Th August, Our Independent Day???

Coming August 15 is Mother India's 61st Birth day. I just celebrated my 29Th birth day. As this is my first birthday after my marriage, and on my wife's request I had to cut cake, celebrated with friend with blowing out candles and a little party. My past birth days were just ordinary day, at best I went to Temple for God's blessing. Apart from that I remind my mom and dad that I am growing . Interestingly, I came to know my birth day for the first time while filling my High School Certificate exam. How backward I was! But I remember each August 15Th how I celebrated from my childhood days. That day was no less joyous for me. Going to school early mooring,flag hosting,few words from teachers about independence day and then sweet. In my school days I was NCC Sergent. After flag hosting I was marching past, saluting our national flag with pride along with my small cadet contingent. It was a moment of pride. Nothing can compensate this. Since then I had a burring desire to join in Army and server for my country. Patriotism was completely imbibed in my mind and blood. But after 15 years today I am eagerly waiting to process my Green Card and desert my country. I regret for my self pride and nationality.


I was reading an article in CNN. The excerpt goes here:

We love our country. World Values Survey found that 77 percent of Americans are very proud of their nationality. That puts us in a first place tie with the Irish. Australia was next and no one else was really even close.

Today I am in USA, temporarily for work. Just saw July 4Th - A magnificent independence day celebration in Boston. People feel proud of their county. Everybody had American flag in their hand. Lots of crackers lightening sky. All praise their founding fathers for making such a wonderful country in the world. Everybody was uttering "God Bless America". For few moment I was puzzled, what should I say. Yes , I too said loudly God Bless America. Such an amazing country! A real democratic country. A country of the people,by the people and for the people. And really it is.

I still love my country and have same patriotism. But do not know why I detest that much same time. I do not feel pride for our founding fathers. Gandhi ji brought independence but his followers were not enough visionaries to shape the country in right direction. Our leaders are not leaders, they are opportunists, they are cowards, they are selfish with mean minded. And forget about their knowledge and guidance. I lament that I am being guided by this kind of leaders. As a leader they do not know what is right and wrong for country except what is good for them. As American feel proud to be an American and thank God. I ask God why did he leave me among these demons.

Though I inherited my independence but I feel lost it. How can I say that I am Independent,where I can not have my own right, can not breath fresh air, struggle every moment for food, can not raise voice against wrong and lots more....! I do not feel pride saluting again ever in Aug 15Th. Give me my Independence back, please!!!

Fight Global Warming , Fight for World Independence

Rising oil price and rising inflation is today's hot topic in every house hold of the world. Some part of the world is related with excess reserve of oil(OPEC) and others being dependent on them; we all are revolving around energy. Amid this circles we have thousands of political factions,exploitations and rivalries. But we in between, are in oblivion about global warning, being given by mother Nature. Yes , you agree or do not agree we are in the verge of serious threat. Its Global Warming. Man made artificial destruction and result of our extensive need and progression.

Either America,Europe,Middle east or Asia every nation needs development. We have achieved rapid exponential success in science and Technology since last century. America and Europe become breeding land for all inventions and development. Slowly they helped rest of the world. Post worlds' all scientific inventions used as civilian upliftment. One way it was good. We all understood how bad the war was. But slowly it pushed all of us towards a new world. The world of capitalism. Commerce, business and wealth become new weapon for every country. Again an invisible war has begun- The Economic War.

It has been last 50 years we are in this war, never knowing that we are loosing day by day. Today though we are facing energy crisis (OIL) but we ignore the real crisis. The Global warming. Rapid use of oil in developed countries since last 50 years and now rapid growth of developing countries' demands for more and more energy. Not to repeat what problem we face- from food price to electric bill. But instead of looking at real problem the whole world again engaged in blame game. We are at serious threat of global warming, but we never succumb to out greedy mind.

In USA every house hold has a car. They consume most of the oil in the world. No doubt that they are leading most comfort and lavish life. Though every one talks about bringing down oil price but nobody thinks about changing luxury habits. Like reducing oil consumption and developing new mass communication system. Same time in India , China and other developing countries' corporate world encourage for more and more use of cars and luxury items. Added to that Population explosion across the world, never stops needs for basic goods.

No need to say how and why global warming is happening. No country would be escaped from this. Still we have fair chance of saving our world. Just we need to give up our greedy mind,lavish life and think as one citizen of the world. Helping out each other we can save tomorrow's world - can give a greener world to our next generation. Lets think for our Independence - independence for our world.

Divided We Stand : Indians

In my school days we used to celebrate National Integration Day. The purpose was to make aware of unity in diversity in our Nation. We were told that we have many languages,many religion,beliefs and faith. It was very difficult to realize this in school days. Because I did not see much difference when I come out of my class room. My outlook was not growing like today's kids. May be lack of pervasive news media and Internet was not existing then. Hope toady's kids will see the unity in differences!! I would like to say what I feel when I able to saw true India.

British used to implement a rational - divide and rule, in India. This British legacy left a strong impression among us. As India got independence everything under gone a change. So we just modified the sentence as - Divided we Stand.

Look at recent Gorkha land agitation, Telengana state agitation!! And in past Bihar-Jharkhand, MP - Chhattisgarh, UP-Uttarnchal. These are our burning example of divided we stand. Also down south fight for water and language. But still we stand together. And some occasions unite for religion and caste. Just before independence we lost few things. And what is there for our future I am scared to think.

I have been thinking why it happens again and again. I do not see any other part of world. Neither in America or Europe. So I went to our past to dig little more. I am not a historian but just reminding my school books. When Alexander attacked India, King Puru fought against him. During that time too few of our Kings helped him to Invade India instead of comign togeather. Again look at Asoka how he became King. Killing all his brothers. And so many endless examples. So is today happening in Modern India. Today's cheap politicians and bureaucrats together to gain momentary personal benefit dividing India in the name of Development. What development they have done after having a new state ? Just a new capital and new chief minister and set of ministers. Few people agitate,few support and many of us dumb and deaf spectators make this divide successful.

Neither we nor our politicians could learn to discuss our many other problems. We have a population explosion, pollution, health care,illiteracy, scarcity of water, education etc never comes into picture. Yes this only comes out a scandal. This has been so prevalent that people start ignoring this as if this as a common thing. We work in corporate world as a one nation. But still there remains a thin layer of difference and favouritism among ourselves. Being so educated we can not understand this so what wrong with poor fellows to follow blindly to their leaders for separate state or reservation. We got education but did not get Knowledge.

So how young India will make it a developed India by 2020?

Yoga and Exercise : Billon Dollar Asset with in you

Dear Friends I am happy to know that our Honorable Health Minister is favouring Yoga guru Ramdev and also trying to include yoga in school curriculum. Thanks, it will help to build descipline and character among budding citizens.No need to give introduction about baba Ramdev and about yoga. World knows both. I personally believe him as my Yoga Guru though I see him only in videos. Today I would like to share my personal experience of Yoga and Exercise.

I have been doing yoga and exercicse since my childhood days. I do it to stay fit and healthy and same time I hate to visit doctor. Thanks to our ancient culture discovering this. We often forget our own values. Yoga no only keeps my body flexible but same time keeps away from back pain,stress and stain in day to day life. I normally prefer to pratice in the morning. First I do streaching exercise and go for 2 mile jogging and brisk walking. Then come back and do yoga and in end, prnayam. Pranayam helps relaxing my mind and keeping my thoughts clear. It is all about controlling breathing. I believe if ones body is not fit and healthy then pranayam effectiveness is very less. So keep your body physically fit first by doing yoga and exercise. It is my personal experience. By this I keep my metabolic and digestive system under control. As our Ayurvadeic doctor says : Cough and "Pita"(dont know in English)is the root cause of all deseases. If ones bowl movement is in proper order chances of common deseases are very less.

I do not feel to write much as all of us know its benefit. But I request all of you please spend some time doing yoga and exercise, at least twice in a week also good. Remember HEALTH IS WEALTH. You might be a billionaire but a unhelathy body and stressful mind is worth more than billion dollar in debt. When we are young our body manages to protect against deceases. But as we grow older not ever more than 30years old ,body starts to deteriorate. To prevent this happening if we do yoga and exercise, it will give much benefit as years go by. It helps to keep us young and fresh always. Who does not want to be young for ever !!!!!

Caste and Reservation System In India

Gujjars !! Now became very famous in the name of CAST. People fight for the reservation in the name of caste. A whole community has come out to confront. Its shame to all of us,to our country and we all community. People instead of fighting for going upward they choose to remain ST so that they can get some benefit. It is starting a bad precedent in India. Shame to their Leader and unfortunate fool followers. Sorry for Bad words.

And suppose we gave 4% reservation then what they can do ? How many jobs are there and out of whole Gujjar community how many would get job/benefit. 4 out of 100!! So do we have job opening with more than 1 lakh count? So then 4000 Gujjars would get benefit. Ok, after that what? What commitment or benefit they promise after prevailing this reservation? Will they promise those families who got reservation will not get any further benefit from next generation? Will these families help their own community for uplifit? If not ,then why should we give any community for any kind of benefit. This was not the purpose of creating Reservation system. Is anybody raising these questions? No or his/her voice is never heard. But we are ready to play Sympathetic politics among people and bias common man. These idiot politicians and these coward scholars if rule the county any problem never be solved.

Our fool leaders and politicians will come time and again on this matter. Like Arjun Singh and Mayawati. But they never come up with any constructive ideas. Sorry I do not want to write more about them everybody knows this. And I feel fooled pointing them. When we will get relief from these people? I am asking a question to my friends to youngstarts is this the Developed India we are dreaming for? If not do not be silent.

Who is Responsible for Jaipur Blast ? Public or Govt

Recent Jaipur serial blast is an act of heinous example shown by the Terrorist. What ever be there is a cause behind it, killing innocent people is never accepted. May it be out of a biased mind or a ill motivated or a personal gain, killing or adopting way of non violence is never never acceptable by any society. It must be punished and such type of fundamentalist groups must be rooted out with no time. It does not matter where they exists. After all we humans and behaving this kind of brutal acts is a shame to human being. Same time our citizen,society and government should come forward to stop this.

This matter has raised few question marks in my mind about our Government systems functioning. My questions are very general like
1. Why our government fail time and again to stop this kind of attacks.
2. Is our security system so prone!
3. Why there is such bad intelligence network?
4. What is the role of public.

May be lots of questions we can raise. Yes it has become our habit of raising questions and debating after every issue and then forgetting. After all we do not have less issue nor less people are there to create a new issues. Soon we will see this matter will be vanished and we will forget everything. NO THERE LIES THE PROBLEM. I personally feel the answers lies with in ourselves. My above questions 1,2 ,3 or ..n does not matter. I have only one question "WHAT IS THE ROLE OF PUBLIC".
Government is not at all responsible for recent blast. It is WE PEOPLE who are responsible.

When you blame for Government,Security system or Intelligence mechanism, just stop for a while and think. Who are they? And how are they there? It is all because of us. We voted them, we elected them and we choose them for respective post.

Where nearly half of the constitutional members are criminals,under educated and ill motivated, how can they think about our security system. They do not have time from their own personal troubles or lavish lives , how can they shape our lives. After all we choose them, we elected them. Just think for a second an under educated and criminal background person , how can he visualize for our national security. Yes it can be possible in Bollywood movies.

Before raising voice against Terrorist have we ever raised voice against a criminal MP/MLAs. NO , Never!! So ....... I believe no need to give any further example. But it will not stop until we stop ourselves against corrupt netas.

Olympics एंड India

Olympic torch is on its way with message for universal brotherhood around the world. This year it is associated with 'Tibet' issue. The shadow of suppressed and terror is following this years Olympic torch of universal integrity. Some country make politics and some support for fight for independence in this 21st century. Its shame,proud or supremacy or a new world of hegemony its up to you to think. I would like to go back to my childhood days - my golden days, days of innocence and days of dreams with Olympic.


I believe every body's childhood begins with Sports/Game. It is a wonderful thing that we get associated in our early life. Gives pleasure and lesson and fills the childhood spirit with joy. In 1984 I first saw Seoul Olympic on TV. Got a chance to look thousands of games and sports. For few days I did not touch my cricket bat. As I was in school and my teacher used to tell about the significance of five colors of Olympic symbols, representing five continents. All most all countries have participated in this mega events, unlike in cricket only few nations participating!! Swimming,boxing,cycling,gymnastics,rowing,tennis,hockey,running and what not! All kinds of events there,many even new to me at that time.


I was too much excited as I could see many games at a time. Even it was more exciting to see the score board. Which country was leading the Gold Medal List. OOPS!! Where is India!! Now where...! Oh, may be we have to view the list from downwards to see India's medal list. Where as country like china,USA,japan,Russia,Korea,France,UK,Germany every time their list goes up. So, what to do with the medal-country list? I was just enjoying the games. Swimming was my most exciting one. But till then I had never seen a swimming pool. My father told me that these swimmer learn swimming even when they were less than a year old. The face I saw when I came to USA and saw parents taking their five/six month old baby to swimming pool and help them to float in water. Ya, even till now I do not know how to swim. haa haa...haa...!! Come on..I have not quit my effort...this summer i will learn some basics. I will try my best to go to next Olympic ......!!!

Yes I was talking about Medal List. I do not remember how many golds we won on Seoul Olympics. But sure not more than a single hand finger count. Even that would be a proud for nation. Billion people but not a single Gold. I used to be frustrated looking at the score board. India's name was no where around the list. In the same time lots of news will flood into our TV,News Papers. People,politicians start to play the blame game and show how good they are at bringing the national issue. Many problems would be found and many solutions given targeting the next Olympics.

Next,next and next Olympics ....time has passed by. But the count never gone up more than a single hand finger count. And do not know when it will come. I would rather suggest, we should not participate in games. Rather we should send people to watch games. We are not history makers , we are just history readers.

Lets see how many Gold this time. Yes be prepared for a long discussions,plans,interviews and many views on our sports from many Leaders in TV channels and News Papers!!

Holi : Colors Of Life

Holi , one of the most celebrated traditional function of India since long back from past. It is played with love and passion among all religion in India. It shows the unity in diversity in India. People come and wish each other with colors. That symbolizes the expression of love and sharing each other's love.

Every year I used to play holi from my childhood days. It was a day I was waiting for long to come. Mixed with many colors I used to pour others, little knowing that it is not a game. But now I see the color as beauties of life. What a wonderful tradition! Teaches us giving and taking of love through colors. These colors covers ourselves and makes all one. All look alike in colors. We forget everything for a moment in colors. It is the color that we always love to see and explore. This is the channel through which we express our love. And our tradition teaches us this on this ouspecious day - mix the color you love to see and share.

FILM 2 : Black & White by Subash Ghai

This is my second opinion on Bollywood Film. This is about a socialist film "BLACK & WHITE " directed by Subash Ghai. It is worth seeing and lots to learn for our generation.

This is one of the socialist film our film industry has very maturely portrayed social loophole before people. Film on Hindu and Muslim though not new to industry but this seems to be a special one. Role played by Anil Kapoor is what I am most impressed. Hope our people learn and act like this. He thought for a broader solution with pure objective and vision for common mans' benefit.

India once upon a time Hindu Nation and Hindu Culture. Slowly many cultures had got mixed with main stream and also may new cultures evolved. We should be proud to be a nation with many colors,cultures,creed and society. It has been since long time,may be more than 1000 years we come through with this cultural evolution. So as a result we should be more civilized,cultured in our mutual understanding. But Alas..!! It is totally opposite. Other wise there would not be the necessity of Film Like - Black and White.

When there is a riot or any unrest in the country related to any religion and if question is asked to a common man , who behind this cause is? Then a immediate answer will come "because of bad politicians" or "because of for few people's interest". But same time my question is who elects these people. Why did you follow these bad corrupt politicians. The truth is - Not taking good action is falling back to Bad Action. Other wise generations will past with out any change.

Whole nation and world looks at India's young generation(25 - 35yr) as strength. They advocate India's future strength lies on them. But same time what opportunity they create. And who talks about this? Politicians and Businessman!! One for his vote bank and another for his capitalist thoughts. Should they come for other burning matters too. A country heavily densed with population is going towards curse for themselves. Young educated mass is growing so rapidly and let alone place for uneducated/under educated. Are we able to provide food,better living and good life style to all. Even a better educated also struggles daily for his lively hood. Is this we are blessed with to live in India?? Are we thinking about for our solution? More than think are we aware of this? And if so are we taking action and changing ourselves. Answer lies with Indian youth. If not then there will be another Subas Ghai and another film about ourselves.

India proud to have an air port like Hyderabad International Air Port. Today, Inaugurated by Congress President Sonia Gandhi. Named after the then Prime Minister,Pilot and Husband of Sonia Gandhi. It was kind of desperate need of the hour for booming Indian aviation industry. This is india's second private-public partnership airport. Several foreign International airport has too helped in airport operation,technology.

Today is a special day of all Andhraits. They went ahead of Delhi,Mumbai,Chennai and Kolkata and bagged this into their pocket. It is the fastest growing city in India. This is the city dreams for the international quality and standard in every respect. Starting from software to Airport they have proved time to time. A challenge and open demonstration of knowledge and vision. Thanks AP for bringing inspiration for other states.

Bollywood VS Hollywood!! Less people would know about Bollywood than Hollywood. No matter what both the place serve the same purpose. Entertainment!! Or producing movie.

People know much and more about a Bollywood/Hollywood hero than any politician or scientists. So actors rule the world. But same time they spread out cultural values.
I would like to just draw a little comparison between Hollywood and Bollywood.

Hollywood : Arnold,Jackey chain,Bursley,Tom Cruise,Madona,Sakira....
Bollywood : Amitabh Bachan,Salman Khan,Hritik Roshan,Nana pathakar,Sri Devi,Neha Dhupia,Shilpa Setty,Aishwrya ray, Susmita sen,Rani Mukharjee,Madhuri Dixit.... and may more....

The first Hollywood movie I saw was Erazor by Arnold. I was stunned by looking that movie. Wow what a stunt,body and what kind of Guns ....! After few days I became fan of Hollywood movie. So the series stated from jurassic park,Independence day,Mummy,The World is not enough to Mission Impossible and so on..... !! Each movie is different from another. Though the reality goes out after coming from the Theater Hall and feels like two giant dolls play. But it gives utmost entertainment and give a feel of adventures.
So I began to think about the people of Hollywood. What kind of people are they. They think big ...they do not have hunger,poverty and cheap morals.....Ya smells good.

Coming to Bollywood land of culture,love,patience and many more values counted as good. Films are filled with these....Recent few movies have touched my heart. Film Like Lajja, page 3, Taare Zameen Par,Aaja Nach ley and many more.....I thank to producers,writters, Directors and actors. They did a great job. They try to spread the social awareness by their movies. Lots of movies have been built like this. But what about our viewers. They just go for an entertainment. When they will learn. When they will start acting. Our society is shown in our movies. When our people will rise and realize. What state we are living , what we are doing now and where we are heading, does anybody think seriously? No why one or two persons, its everybody's duty. Shall we not wake up!! Its a shame that we allow these kind of cheap politics and thoughts. These people always try to come to power and spend lavish life. Do they ever think about the burning issues of Nation. Education,poverty,population,environment,unemployment and many more. We are more than 130 crores. But just controlled by less than 130 people. Are we so weak. Why do not we wake up. Look at Hollywood. Hollywood people. I mean Americans,Europeans. How they enjoy the life. I feel shame on me when I think of my country. When we will wake up and when we will rise! May God Help India.
